If your New Year’s Resolution for 2016 is to lose weight– join us at our next free seminar “Surgical Weight Loss: Is it Right for Me?” on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at 6 p.m. The seminar topics include gastric bypass, gastric sleeve and Lap-Band, the genetics-obesity connection, and a glimpse into what the future offers for bariatric procedures.
“If your resolution is to lose weight and keep it off, consider surgical weight loss. Bariatric surgery has been found to be very successful for long-term weight loss and also typically helps eliminate diabetes and other dangerous conditions,” said Dr. Julie Ellner. “There are more options than ever before to reach your long-term weight-loss goals.”
The seminar will be hosted by Dr. Julie Ellner, the medical director of Alvarado’s bariatrics program, and Dr. Vadim Avulov. Many insurance plans now cover bariatric surgery and a representative will be on hand to answer your insurance and other payment-option questions.
The seminar is free but registration is encouraged by calling (800) 258-2723, register online at AlvaradoHospital.com, or e-mail us. The seminar will be held in the Alvarado Hospital Conference Center at 6645 Alvarado Road, San Diego 92120. Free parking is available in the hospital parking garage.
