Sexual Dysfunction After Cancer Treatment
Some cancers may now be considered a chronic disease with all the quality of life issues involved in living a normal life after treatment. Cancer surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy can all affect sexual function. Working with their oncologists, men and women diagnosed with cancer have an opportunity for counseling before treatment to allow for maximum sexual health preservation after undergoing cancer treatment.
We work with oncologists to restore sexual function to patients recovering from various types of cancer, including prostate and testicular cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer or uterine cancer, bladder cancer, colon cancer, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, leukemia or other blood cancers, as well as other chronic diseases, such as AIDS.
